Since the overwhelming public opinion swung against the “new” look, I’ve gone back to the old template. Not the old, old one (sorry Jae) but the medium old one. I’ll make some more tweaks as I go but I guess I’ll stick with this look for a while.

For those of you who have blogs;
Do you get sick of looking at them so much? I know people that read this site only look at it once a week (or less :( ) but I have to look at it every day. Does anyone else feel this chronic need to change the look of their site continually?

  1. Not at all…in fact, my blog has been using the same template for (looking at calendar) 4 days now. And the previous one lasted, oh right, two months. In fact, I’ve had a blog eight months now and skinned it four, possibly five times. In light of my performance, you’re a rock of consistency.

  2. I know what you mean by tiring of the look. My site is not a blog but I am working on it so much lately trying to get the right look and it gets a little mundane. Worse is the feeling of panic you get because people will actually judge you by the look of your site! The part I have problems with is how it works, the actual tactile feel as it takes on a life of it’s own. You try to be different than all the others and then realize all the others are that way for a reason. You have to just keep on experimenting in order to get originality. Maybe a porn site would just be the easiest way to go.
    Aaneeyways, I digress, actually NOT. You know the blogisphere is really just internet for people with small privates unlike the other half of internet users. Did I say that out loud? Yours Truly; Overwhelming Public

  3. i can’t be bothered to blog twice a week, let alone change the look of things… instead, i just rant in the shower or on the drive to work. fewer people catch glimpses into my thought patterns, but it’s certainly an efficient use of time.
