I saw this again a while ago on blu ray with the restored original ending. I still have some issues with the film but those altered 6 minutes changed (almost) everything for me. A new ending that made sense of everything that had come before rather than pissing all over it. Much better. Unfortunately, the alternate ending isn't available on the standard DVD so you must buy either the 2 disc special edition or the blu-ray disc. hmm…
