that’s a nice pic. How did you keep the glossiness when you photoshopped the color?
It’s just a desaturate adjustment layer with the center of the eye erased so the colour came back in.
I had to shoot the image in ISO 3200 so I could get the shutter fast enough to capture a sharp image so the skin tones were pretty noisy. Desaturating them was compromise to hide the flaws.

Whatever, it was on the “hi” compensation setting. I’m assuming that is basically like shooting a step above 1600.
