Our vacation was amazing.

Thanks to Robert, Holly and Mary for hosting us on the Martha Schooner. Martha is a 102 year old wooden racing schooner that housed us for a week at sea.

You can see all the photos here but right below you can see the final photo of the trip or at least the final photo my trusty D70s took right before it was subsumed in a wave of sea water that has apparently sent it to, a less than metaphorical, watery grave.

After the ocean we headed down to Portland to stay with Chase and Mellisa, possibly the greatest hosts in the world. I will never forget it (sorry insidish joke).

There I took in a Portland Timbers game. Considering they are possibly the worst triple A soccer team in America, they have the greatest football supporters in the world. Way too much fun. I especially liked the chant, “you’re going home in a Portland ambulance!”

BTW ours was the only full section of the stadium.
