Some realy good films this year. Among my favorites, A History of Violence, Capote, Syrianna, Hustle and Flow, Good Luck Good Night, Batman Begins, King Kong and Crash.

  1. So I went 4 for 6.

    Crash surprised me big tme coming away with the Best Picture Oscar. Good for Paul Haggis (director), and Lionsgate (distributor) and the Toronto Film Festival (where the independant film was finally bought).
    I knew “A History of Violence” was a long shot but wanted to take a chance on a film I realy liked an hey, Cronenberg is a Canadian too.
